GoAERO is excited to announce a new partnership with Ouster, a leading provider of high-performance lidar sensors and intelligent software solutions. This collaboration will give GoAERO teams access to cutting-edge 3D digital lidar technology, empowering them to develop more effective and precise emergency response aircraft. Through this partnership, Ouster is offering their advanced OS0 and OS1 lidar sensors to all Stage 2 and 3 GoAERO teams at a standard discounted price, making this sophisticated technology more accessible to teams developing life-saving emergency response flyers.
"Lidar sensors are critical for autonomous navigation in emergency response scenarios," said Gwen Lighter, GoAERO Founder and CEO. "Ouster's technology will help our teams develop aircraft capable of operating safely in challenging conditions like smoke, dust, or darkness—exactly when emergency response is most needed."
“Ouster is committed to advancing the adoption of autonomous systems to drive meaningful improvements in safety, efficiency and sustainability – a mission aligned with GoAERO’s work to transform emergency response,” said Cyrile Jacquemet, SVP of Global Sales. “We are proud to offer digital lidar with special pricing to these dedicated teams to strengthen the performance of their safety-critical operations.”
The OS0 sensor features an ultra-wide field-of-view designed for short-range, high-precision perception—ideal for navigating complex environments during rescue operations. The OS1 offers an excellent balance of resolution and range, making it versatile for various emergency response applications.
Teams can access this special pricing by contacting lidar@ouster.io.
Additionally, Ouster will participate in the GoAERO Expert Lecture series, providing teams with in-depth knowledge about implementing their lidar technology in emergency response applications.
This partnership represents another step forward in GoAERO's mission to catalyze breakthrough solutions for aerial emergency response, providing teams with the advanced technologies needed to develop aircraft that can save lives in disaster scenarios.
